i downloaded this film off bittorrent and it downloaded as a file containing 2 sub-folders of ro1, ro2,etc files that i cannot view only using video lan

It sounds like you need to extract the files with WinRAR.

i read something about winrar but im just learning about all this by reading these boards can i download it and is it normal to dowwnload screeners in this format

WinRAR is easy to find and d/l. I think it is fine to d/l movies like that, but don't quote me

Perfectly normal,when extracted there will be a Bin file that you can burn straight to CD.

i downloaded winrar and extracted bin file so if i burn this file to cd-r will it play as a vcd
the help is much appreciated as i have got farther than i would have

Yes,in nero,cancel the wizard then go to File>burn image,then double click the cue file associated with the Bin file.In a short time you will have the movie on disc.Any problems just post back here cos im off and on here all tonite mate. :)
