There are loads of reasons that might happen.

Try clearing your cache.

Your ISP could be blocking it.

Your AV or firewall could be as well.

Try to ping it. Also try traceroute.

If you have a "hosts" file, try temporarily renaming it. If this helps, you need to do some editing.

The link Skizo posted works for me. Go to Proxy.org and use any from the list to visit Darkside. If you can access, it's a problem on your end. There's a tool called "WinSock XP Fix" which would be worth trying.

Thanks to anon-sbi, i can connect to Darksiderg.com through a proxy server, so atleast I know that it's still up and working. What could be wrong ?? is my ISP blocking the site ?

you can always register at speed.cd (bittorrent tracker) if you're after aXXo releases.

Either your ISP is blocking Darkside, or the latter is blocking your IP for some reason. The easiest thing to do would be checking the latter - look for a help forum or contact form, give DSRG your real IP range and ask them about this.

you can always register at speed.cd (bittorrent tracker) if you're after aXXo releases.

Those releases are fake. Have a closer look at the encoding details and you'll notice the difference between the fake and the real thing. Speed.cd is using those as an advertisement to attract users, given aXXo's popularity.

good to know, i'll take a glance at it.
anyway, original aXXo releases sucks so that's not a bad thing in the end

I had forgotten about this site. probably because it was/is aXXo home. It is unreal the amount of people that still look for his encodes. I wince everytime I see someone upload an aXXo release...I guess that is me being snobbish or something.

I have nothing against aXXo or his rips, but I'll still choose Scene releases over those, whenever available. Not that they're a guarantee of quality, but most of the time they appear to do it right.

I used to have an account there before I discovered FST. Wonder how the forums are now, I remember them being less bt-focused back then

I posted this in the other thread on trackers taken down, but I guess it deserves to be here as well:

http://torrentfreak.com/axxos-home-darksiderg-disconnected-by-the-mpaa-110129/

"Seems" it's one of them that's been taken down temporarily.
