Hi,

I have an indeterminate amount of Demonoid invite codes that are better off on the hands of people that'll use their account rather than collecting dust. If you have at least 20 posts and promise me you'll keep a positive ratio by seeding as much as you can, you may post here to ask for one and I'll PM it to you.

one question: is demonoid keeping a good track of users ratio now?

this is the only tracker that I don't have the ratio as I'd like and that's not because I don't seed... they just don't update the ratio status as it should =/

I'm saying this because maybe you'll give an invite to someone that will keep a good ratio but the tracker could show something different =/

As far as I know Demonoid's ratio system is as inaccurate as always. :mellow:

They have some tips to ensure correct ratio updating on their FAQ, check them out. :)

I'm one of those guys that always read the FAQ :P
but at demonoid? for what? hehe... I did so already and I'm under a dynamic ip connection so no donuts for me... :unsure:


The ratio system is purely statistical and somewhat innacurate for the ones with shared or dynamic ips.There is a "way" to keep things right but that's too much of a problem to me when the "real problem" is not from my part you know? Logoff, then login again, wait a little, try to download something... check the status or whatever :frusty:

since the tracker works almost like a ratioless tracker (won't ban low ratios) I simple gave up :dry:

but I still like that tracker :P

I have a dynamic IP as well, but my ratio is always updated if I log in before I start leeching/seeding Demonoid torrents. :mellow:

Yes, I knew :happy: But they're not really a big deal, unless you want to give your Dem profile link or make a ratio proof, since as you said they don't ban for low ratios.

And maybe I'm wrong but I think I never had to give ratio proofs to get invited anywhere... not sure =/ but, no, I don't need demonoid for proofs hehe =P

Keep your Demonoid cookies, code a batch file that'll start your browser and load their browse page, wait 60 seconds, then run uTorrent, and put that on your StartUp folder. :lol:
