Probably a dumb question but here goes................is there anything other than Powerpoint that can open a .ppt file ? :huh:
hi Riddler, never really used powerpoint much so i dont know too much about its file types but this might help you

:) Thanks guys. The powerpoint viewer sounds like a great utility. Now if I could find one that XP will run.http://home.no.net/ungpike/emoticons/birgits_scratch.gif I did find a few candidates from webattack though. I'll give it a shot.

Ooops, sorry pol, I'm running XP home. XP office is apparently capable of a few different tricks. B)

not sure how much use this might be, but according to the schpiel you can convert the files to view as .jpg's, .pdf's and .txt's
