Steam holiday Xmas sales

There's been mad discounts and new sales everyday. Anyone bought something?

So far I've gotten BF2 for 8$, and the Jedi Knight pack for $10. I'm hoping Quake 3 or UT2k4 goes on sale on one of the day sales. If not, UT2K4 is 8$ on GOG which is pretty sweet.

I am quite sure all the steam sales are global. The prices might vary according to country though.. Does your home page on the store menu not show Xmas countdown sales?

Yeah I bought BF2 as well, it's a steal for 7.50$
Woulda bought Rome/Medieval Total War but I already have Rome installed, and the Medieval one doesn't come with the expansion, so if I bought it, it might not work with a downloaded expansion.

No good deals today, but I don't really need anymore games anyways.

it seems fairly active to me. according to xfire it's far and away the most popular SC game being played ATM

btw, anyone see that Civ IV is $6?!

CIV4 complete with all expansions is 13$. Not sure which is the better deal, but if I started to play that game and like it, it'd be nice to get the expansions as well.

COD 5 is 25$ for only today. Activision/Blizzard are greedy corporate bastards so I doubt they will drop the price of MW2 anytime soon, since its selling so well already.

Not that I know of, I am just too lazy to bother downloading them illegally. Yeah sometimes I break my "buy only for multiplayer" rule if it's a good deal.

I got BioShock for $5, L4D for $7.50, and Killing Floor / Defence Alliance 2 for $5. The Crysis + Crysis: WH for $13.59 seems like a good deal, but I don't think I'll be able to run it. Steam holiday sales are what I look forward to the most during the Christmas season.

yeah, same. i don't mind supporting the company if it's a good game, good price, and i have some extra $$$
