I have a difficulty falling asleep, even though it's 1:53 a.m. now. Tell me something that will make me fall asleep.

Go out for a run or something. The cold alone should make you sleepy once you get back inside.

Exactly. I was going to say the same thing. Go for a run or for a long walk and when you come back take a shower, drink some warm milk and you'll fall asleep like a baby.

Either that, or a recorded conversation between Les and RF about their union should do the trick.

Watch Fox news, that will make you fall asleep fast, they are so boring and idiotic you will pass out.

Or lay in your bed and have a conversation about life with yourself and your imaginary made up lesbian persona from New York.

You can ask her ton's of questions about her sex life and then dream about later lol.. That'll work too

You seem to know a lot about that persona, why do I have the feeling you have a lot to do with her? Little kid give it a rest already.

Just do some sport. Doesn't matter what kind of sport, it could be football, tennis, swimming or running.

If you will sweat just a little bit you gonna have a really good night sleep.

For me swimming and is the best sleeping pill. Also running is good. After one hour of running I sleep like a log.

Make sure you're getting plenty of exercise while maintaining the same sleep schedule daily. Even if you don't sleep, get up at the same time every day anyways and repeat. The idea being eventually your body will habitually adjust to it.

Now if only getting myself motivated was as easy as all that... :whistling

I suggest you have a baby; that way you will pass out from exhaustion the minute your head hits the pillow.

The sleep cycle is determined by your meal times. Try eating earlier, and you will certainly fall asleep sooner.

Why not? Can they develop any kind of allergies?

Skweeky

No, it's because sometimes it contains certain bacteria that can cause botulism. In adults you would just get a bad case of the squirts, in babies stuff like that can get critical really quickly.

No. Try to follow along...

However, I did face a bit of a dilemma. Ignore a due compliment to the wonderful and charming, Skweeky, or risk the the sanctity of all that is normal and right in the world and agree with you.

Oh well, you flip a coin enough times and there is the potential that it may, in fact, (however unlikely) land on, and rest on its edge. This is the kind of rarity we are talking of here...

But it was a very nice, and justified compliment.

Shirley (I can call you that, right), spell check rejected that word, didn't it?

Regardless, you said a nice thing about a nice person. It seemed out-of-character(s) from your other posts. I should be rewarding your good behavior- I'll bring biscuits next time. :D

You should be taking care of the one's you have at home and spend less time been a jerk, should it be that nobody cares about what you have to say at home? Keep getting yourself noticed here, good job girlfriend.

No biscuit for you. :snooty:

My home, life, and home life are all just fine.

How was I being a "jerk"? I was going to bring you a treat, I said you were nice to one of my friends, I asked about your spell checker. I think I have been quite pleasant to you.

How are the English classes coming along? You are at least equivalent to, what, 6th or, perhaps, even 7th grade. Some of your words were in the 6-7 letter range. The sentence structure still needs some work and you have pretty serious gender issues, but it is obvious you are trying very hard.

Be sure to keep us updated on your hard-fought progress...

Now that wasn't nice. I will defer to your knowledge of drag though.

You asked about my time spent on this site. I can tell you it is a matter of mining. I have found if one digs long enough here there are some diamonds to be found. I won't spoil the surprise and tell you who those are, but you aren't in that group. There are also some rocks. You aren't in that group either. No, you are one I would classify as a sand covered cat turd.

Thing is, you were very easy to spot and cast aside. :)

Ffs, you forgot to mention the need for a utensil appropriate to the task.

One doesn't just muck about the board flinging turds bare-handed.

Comprehensive, but too confining.

I favor the spatula/strainer thingie, especially given the target-rich environment we habituate.

We don't have a cat. Unfortunately, my wife is allergic to them and I have a very sensitive nose. We adopted one once, but had to give him to my wife's parents (where he lived out his days very much loved) for those very reasons.

I am still quite able to identify a turd when I see one. :)

Skweeky
01-10-2010, 03:15 PM
You have to stay away from cat turds just now, toxoplasmosis is dangerous for unborn babies and newborns.

j2k4
01-10-2010, 03:15 PM
Yeah, cats/cat-turds and pregnancy are not a great mix, in any case.

My wife is allergic as well, so we only have the three.

Skweeky
01-10-2010, 03:18 PM
We have two, they do their business somewhere outside in the surrounding woods. Nonetheless, I tend not to get to touchy with them, you never know.

megabyteme
01-10-2010, 03:32 PM
We only had the cat for a week or two (this was several years ago) and he had a bad habit of jumping on the couch, table, and counters.

We found a recommendation online that placing aluminum foil on areas that they should not be on would break them doing that. It was a lot of fun to see him try, and then react (quickly) to the foil. It worked great. Good times! :D

They even have their own computer, although I make them keep it in the basement.

I had difficulty finding software for the three-mouse setup, but.

If they can get that worked out, they should have NO trouble mastering the games. Dexterity and focus will be BIG pluses on their side.
