I re-watched Seven Samurai last night (haven't seen it in years) and for a second time I was blown away by how it's magnificence.
So I'm wondering, what other Kurosawa films should I see? Are there any that I should avoid? I have previously seen Dreams and I remember enjoying it quite a bit, so I would like to delve further into Kurosawa's works.

Thanks :)

Rashomon,The Hidden Fortress,Throne of Blood, Ran .Those are the big ones although you could also include Kagemusha if only for the music alone.

Forgot Yojimbo . Toshiro Mifune for the win.

In case you weren't aware George Lucas used The Hidden Fortress as inspiration for Star Wars and Seorgio Leone remade Yojimbo as A Fist Full of Dollars

I'll have to take a look at Seven Samurai, cause I couldn't get past the first few minutes of Kagemusha (I'm still waiting for a right time to watch it).
