go here and download the script:http://www.torrentflux.com
then upload it via FTP to your server
Create an empty mysql database and add an user with full rights.
run the install script.
voilá, piece of cake.
It may be necessary to chmod some files.
Be sure you have an available mysql database to use.

Don't even bother if you're using cheap shared webspace. If the host is decent, you'll be detected instantly.

Not just that. TF is such a resource hog, using it will send the ocmpany a red flag if it isnt on a dedicated server.

TorrentFlux doesn't like you. Get a real seedbox next time. :shifty:

have you created the mysql database beforehand?

have you created the mysql database beforehand?
If that isnt the problem, are there restrictions on what you can/can't run?
(Database seems more likely though.)

it would help if he told us what distro he is using...
tf or tf-b4rt .. is it a dedicated box? how much ram do you have? as people have already said, tf rapes apache, which would slow down webhosting of others on the box...
people are corrent about making sure you have the proper tables set, but for people like you, I would say sqlite or pgsql might be a better option.
I found it hard to install at shared host, always dedicated or VPS.
