I'm using Astraweb and SABnzbd, and using http://www.nzbindex.nl/ to search for files. However, every single thing I download shows up as:

With these errors:

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing that I can see. The question becomes... What is Astraweb doing wrong?

Hmmm...I switched to Astraweb because I heard it was good and decently priced.

It would seem as though it's a fault on Astraweb's end. What file are you trying to download? How old is it?

Edit:

Judging from this thread it would seem that others are having issues as well:

It was a 200 day old file. Hmm...that's a shame. They're suggesting using the EU server, but that probably results in reduced speeds.

Any other good providers?

Last week i started having the same problem. So i did setup the EU server as

a backup server on my Sabnzbd.

It didn't slow anything down for me. Now I am getting all the files again.

Ah, well I'm going to try this now.

Thanks =)

I predict it won't work.

It didn't work for one of the files, but worked for the other. But still, since I'm mostly downloading large files (1080p stuff), and my internet speed isn't that high (1mb/s), I don't want to risk it.

Anyone here using a good provider that has pretty reliable files?

By the way, the file shown up at the top I downloaded complete; 70% of it came from Astraweb and the remaining 30% was filled in by a cheap block account provider. That's a strategy that some find too complicated and they prefer to jump from Astraweb to a more reliable provider.

Also try setting the EU server (or US server if you use EU) as your back up server. A lot of times you can find the missing pieces that way.

Yeah setting up another server as a backup one is pretty complicated...

Any good block account providers that are cheap and reliable?

I did.

ANOTHER EDIT:

Hm...so now I'm getting this error:
Connecting [email protected]:1818 failed, message=502 Your per-user connection limit reached

If I set up the eu server as the backup server with 20 connections, why is this happening? I thought the backup server only gets called after the normal server is done with all their stuff?

Blocknews.net

Should be easy in SABnzbd+ to set it as a fill server.

You get 20 simultaneous connections total for all Astraweb servers. The file in your screencap was posted as 138 Usenet articles, and 41 of the 138 are missing from the primary server. The first missing article is 007/138. While the fill server is being asked for segment 007, SABnzbd continues with the article queue for that file and the primary is asked for segment 008, etc.

So how would I set up the connections if I wanted to use eu as a backup server? Have the regular one have 19 and the eu one have 1 or something like that?

You set it up the same way in sabnzbd, but you tick the "backup server" box along with all the normal settings.
