How can you download gifs that are uploaded to picstore? All I can save as is BMP, and I can't 'save target as' for the links.

Dwightfry, I'm confuzzled...
I just uploaded this .gif image to PicStore and retrieved it to the Board, no prob...
After you upload the image, just click on the title (in My Pictures) and click on the image> go to Properties and then copy the URL...

Click on the image name in your list in Picstore. The image will show itself then right click on the image and choose 'Properties' from the menu. You can then highlight the link with your mouse pointer then right click the highlight and choose 'copy' from the menu. You can then 'paste' the link to where you want it. Don't forget to add :
&ext=.gif or &ext=.jpgto the end of the link when using the pictures here on this board.

I want to download it to this computer so I can edit it some more.

Right click the image and choose 'Save Picture as'.
If you can only save it as a .bmp then try to delete the 'Temporary Internet Files'.

I've been trying to find a place online to store my images for me to link to forums, as my site doesn not hotlink. I've noticed your talking about Picstore...is this the place to go for that then? If so, can someone please give me the full URL ...anyone?? :)

This is the one I use Sighost (http://www.sighost.us). I find it to be pretty good and i've had no probs there :D :D

Yeah it lets you have anything there. I have my avatars, my sigs, quite a few of my smilies and other piccies there. i got an email from them the other day telling me they're a working on a new improved version as well as at the moment it isn't shall we say personal? :D :D

I use these, villagephotos, for stuff I want to be able to remove there's a bandwidth limit though, and uploadit for other stuff, though chinkii has gotten better lately.

I'll be back there when it's up, I've already promised, don't think we've talked here before :huh: I believe we talked around each other to titey once, that much I remember. :)
