check your hosts file in system32\drivers\etc and look for that link's IP, it could be linked to google.com and the other google addresses.

never heard of a website screwing with some1's hosts file, but that does sound reasonable.

HiJack This (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) (Freeware)

This is a GREAT program that can fix browser hi-jackings. You can use it to remove any modifications that were done to your IE. Extra buttons, plug-ins, unwanted toolbars, unwanted redirections. This program helped me out soo many times.

it's not the site, per say, a tiny little program can do that and/or software installtion who do touch that file can do that. Or even like the above post, played in registry.

for example, if u put the followings in ur HOSTS file:
207.218.251.60 www.google.com
216.239.37.100 www.klboard.ath.cx

everytime u type google.com, ul get this board and visa versa. I've played that little trick on my friends before. Also, I have it setup on the kids PCs to avoid bad sites too.

isn't their a virus going around that hijacks your browser and prevents you from going to search engines?
