Hi, new member here :). I was starting to get fed up with KL++ over the past few hours or so because it kept crashing about 2mins after starting up, and it was very consistent. Every single time it would crash in the exact same amount of time and I would get the exact same errors. Kpp.exe and Kernel32.

So, I decided to diable the accelerator as reccomended by a few posts on this board, but apparently that wasnt my problem. Well, to make a long story short, I was sharing way too many files and I guess my computer just couldnt handle loading them + downloading or something. I have a 2.4ghz P4 & 256MB 400mhz DDR RAM if that matters. Well I just thought I'd post this up in case anyone was having the same problem. Later.

Oh sorry, forgot to mention I already fixed my problem before I posted, but thanks. :)

That was the problem, I fixed it, and decided to post about it, that's all. Hope it helps someone.

I was sharing 15,596 files (36.4GB on a 40GB [37.2] 5400rpm Maxtor POS) and I suppose it was just too much activity (reading them all?) for either my HD or WinME to keep track of, so I reducecd the amount to 2,973 files (12.8GB) and all went smoothly. I don't claim to know what the exact problem was, but if anyone else suffers the same symptoms this would be a good thing to try out.
