I recently restarted using newsgroups, and I picked alt.binz for several reasons.

Now, to be perfect, I still haven't managed to put a couple of settings fully working.

1. Not any of the searches produce results. At least newzleech, binsearch and NZBindex, the ones I've tried. Any ideas why?

2. I've been trying to set it up to download, repair, unrar and delete the .rars once it's done.
I've managed to do everything besides deleting the rars when it's done.
What's wrong in these settings? (I'm running on Windows Server 2003 R2).

Thank you guys.

what is that version? 0.25 is old and buggy with some broken search engines http://www.altbinz.net/forum/index.php?topic=2485.0
and newzleech is offline already 2-3 months http://www.newzleech.com/

Where can I find the latest versions, not being a subscriber?

you have to donate/pay to use the latest version its 15 euro for life. look their forum for more info.don't use cracked version
''They are ALL trojan infected. All firefox, IE, IM, steam passwords are collected and uploaded to attackers site''

i suggest you to try sabnzbd but its too complicated for many noobs

The main albinz functionality works in 0.25 but the newer version is miles better. Worth the donation IMO.

Im using Newsleecher 3.9
I actually got the nzb off this site I believe.
NewsLeecher 3.9 Final Inc Keygen Updated-FFF

Anyways it does all you ask and very well. I am very happy with it so far (been using it for 2 months.)
The super search works as well on this release. Which will search similar to nzbindex or binsearch.

Just started using that exact same version you pointed out, as SoL suggested.
Pretty good stuff, and the SS is an invaluable feature.

The other problem, I solved it finally. Software needed to be restarted. duh...

Nice, I recently got back into usenet after using BT for a few years. Im liking it a lot. Nice to be a leech with no worries. :naughty:

It's pretty comfortable I must agree. For less than 6€ a month I've no worries about ratios, maximum speed no matter how old the file is and no under-16 kids running the tracker. And safer than torrenting.
I'll stay in the torrent world, but I'll use torrents 1% of what I used to. Sites like BCG and what.cd are irreplaceable.

Yes very true. I still have all my sites. They are good to find releases as well. Then I go hunt then down on usenet.

I'm still reading the most important threads in the newsgroups section. And they are quite a few.
Add that to reading and moderating the BT section, it takes me quite some time to accomplish such task.
Thanks for all the help so far everyone.
