this is the latest version of security update, the "October 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which eliminates all known security vulnerabilities affecting MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express as well as three newly discovered vulnerabilities. Install now to protect your computer from these vulnerabilities. This update includes the functionality of all previously released patches.


System requirements Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT/XP
This update applies to MS Internet Explorer, version 4.01 and later
MS Outlook, version 8.00 and later
MS Outlook Express, version 4.01 and later
Recommendation Customers should install the patch at the earliest opportunity.
How to install Run attached file. Choose Yes on displayed dialog box.
How to use You don't need to do anything after installing this item.

no, some douche bag spammer trying to get ur email account, its prolly a trojan..member M$ sucks but they wouldnt email u for updates, they only do update on windows update, forward it to tech in M$ :D

lookin on site for techs email and i didnt click on nothin in my email from them . thought it was strange cu the size of 1 of the emails had a b next to it. should i let norton know cus they cud scan it couldnt they?

ignore anything you get in your email.

yea i couldnt remember if it was them or norton think it goes 2 both wont send email 4 update.at least norton ans hotmail put it in junk mail. good thing i read their info cus i would of ran attachment else. thx guys!

thx johnboy,virtual and the file pirater, emailed msn waitin 4reply lol not got techs addy though. plus the email isnt thought out properly mistakes

i do had critical update today uk time 4pm so bigger fools them saw their email at 2am fri (uk time)

thursday i got critical update at 4pm uk time. its now friday and at 2.15am i read my emails and saw that critical update there.

A lot of newsgroups are full of this crap, too. Just some a&#036;&#036;holes praying on people&#39;s fear and ignorance. You should only install security patches if you&#39;ve downloaded them from Microsoft&#39;s website.
