Hey guy's,

She was sick all of a sudden so i brought her to the veterinarian.
An hour ago i recieved a phone call from the vet that she had a tumor in her belly.
Operating and medicine were no options because it was too wide spread.

I will pay my last repects to her in a few hours.
Damn i loved that cat... Life will never be the same without her.

Farewell Sjima, i will always love you!

Sorry for the dutch, but.....

Heel veel sterkte, man.

Nogmaals Sterkte.

I found her on the streets 16 years ago.. so that makes her 16 something.
So that's about 112 in cat years they told me.

Sorry to hear about your cat Rock. I lost one the same age in August. You sometimes forget that they are a member of the family. But you are oon reminded within a few hours after they are gone.

Incidentally 16 is roughly about 75 in human years. Apparently it starts of at 7 cat year to 1 human in ratio. This diminishes as the cat gets older.

Rocktron

Well... it was very hard.

She looked beautiful when i said goodbye to her and still the same..

I made arrangements for her to be cremated separately so i can take her ashes
home with me. I never thought i would do such a thing when this should happen
to my cats. But i couldn't just leave her behind.
I did that with my other cat and still hate myself for that! But that were different circumstances....
Who knows what they do with them when you leave them there right?

We all know that this has to happen sometime. That's the problem with animals.
But when the time comes... it breaks you in small pieces.. over and over again..

Sorry to hear about this. I lost a cat a couple of years ago too, due to a tumor on his lung so I know what your going through.

Can I just say I think your very brave in saying goodbye... my and my mum couldn't go back to the vets even to do that, we was just too upset.

His mother is still with is and is now 15 so i'm dreading the day when we loose her too.

I just want to say..,

Love them as they are! Alive and well, as much as you can!
So you don't feel "Too much" sorry about it later when they are gone...
know what i mean?

I have 4 of the little buggers; losing one would be TOO tough. :(

They go so well with computors. I can usually reach out and give a scratch to at least two. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty.. :( I'm a pet groomer so I work with animals all day long, I run into so many kitties that need a home all the time. I just took one in that was going to be sent to the pound because her owner died last month. I couldn't let that happen so all of a sudden I have a new cat in my house..I absolutly love her.. :)

Maybe when your ready you can find a place in your home for an unfortunate cat or kitten that doesn't have one. Maybe as a memorial to your kittie that just passed.
I couldn't think of a better memorial then giving all the love you have in your home to another kitty that sure could use someone like you..

Peace & Love

Yep!

There are a lot of cats in the streets all over the world.
And they are so sweat, they all are!
I found Sjima on the streets 16 years ago with a rope around her neck.
Some people think cats should be roped (sick fucks)

Cats are nice. I still have 2 cats... and i love them to death.

I have to clear my mind and think i did my best.
And i did... (damn i really loved that cat)
This night will be my first night without her sleeping next to me. :(

I just found mine with a "rope" around her neck.
A collar is good when placed properly...... (not too tight not too lose)

I spent AU$300 to get my cat fixed up. She had kittens and somehow the milk dried up in her and it exploded. She needed an operations.

She is almost 4 years old now.

All the bitch does now is come in the house, Do a big shit and leave <_<.

I think my neighbour kidnapped my other cat because he hates cats so i attacked him with an axe.

Rocktron

My friend picked me up this afternoon at 15:30 hours.
And i collected my cat in a urn.. damn man.. it feels weird to hold her in your hands like this.

I asked the guy (yesterday on the phone and this afternoon again) Please... tell me that you cremated her seperately?
He said: don't worry she's all there.
This crematorium is settled there from 1935.. so it should be good.

This is my second day without her (i had to leave her behind last thursday)
but this was my first night knowing she will never come back.. strange how a person can be so attached to a cat this way.

Atleast i have 2 other cats, and i will love them even more after all this.
(if that's possible  )

Life go's on..

Again thank you all for your reply's!

I don't count on any reply's on what i'm going to say about my cat from now on.
I just use this thread to free up some thoughts..

My other 2 cats beginning to miss her now. It breaks my heart.
The feeling i'm having now is weird. She really was my baby.
When you touched her while she was sleeping she started to purr...

I'll miss her smell and her next to me before i go to sleep.
She did that for 16 years.. and i mean for 16 years straight every night.

There is nothing that anybody can say to make it easier.
It just has to ravel out i guess?

It gets better everyday.

Some people will not understand this i think. But my cats are my life.
Today i made fresh fish for my other 2 cats.

Sjima was the one that kept following me around the house while the fish was cooking on the stove.
Just whispering softly "Fish" was enough for her to get crazy and follow me around everywhere i went.

My other cats were waiting for that.. but never did ofcourse.. another heart breaking day again.

It will get better...

I recieved a Good Luck Card from the Vet today.
That was nice. They spelled my cat's name wrong because i have a cat called Sjimi. An Honest mistake.. i corrected it on the card tho.

But still nice vets do that.. here it is:

(again.. i expect no replys on this.. just freeing my thoughts) Thanks.

Weird.. i feel:

1. Angry about myself
2. Guilty for not saying goodbye a bit longer when i left her wednesday last week.
3. Sorry for my other cats, they miss her really bad.

Every day feels different.

Normally when i got something to eat, she was the first one (fast asleep or not)
that stood there to beg something from me. (*i gave her small peaces but never much because it's bad for any animal to feed them normal food) A little sound that sounded even remote to that woke her up.

Weird how the flowers that i bought went dead after only 4 hours.
Weird how it is to open just 3 special can's of food instead of 4.
Weird see her not running after anything that moves.
Weird to not hear her purr. (She did that even when you called her)
Weird to see my other cat Sjimi lying there alone (he was used to sleep with her all the time)
Weird but comfortable to see how my other cat Chinny is doing her best to please me when ever she can.. (more than usual)

But..,

Things get better every day.

This was a week off work and i needed that.

I have three cats used to have four. There names are and were Satan, Mingmong, Fugley jnr, and Spot.

Unfortunately Spot had to be renamed Splat!

That's the reason why my cats never went outside.
Afraid of losing any of them because of an ass on wheels.
Or losing them because they fell of the balcony 4 floors down.

Sorry to hear about your loss. :(
