i reallly need a program that can import databases (excel files), or which i can type (copy n paste) a long list of file name, click create then this software will automatically have created the html files.
any ideas?

i need a program that i can type file names eg:
game1
game2
game3
click create
and it will automatically make the basic html files
eg game1.htm (or game1.html)
sorry i haven't got a clue, but now i'm curious as to why?

well , it will save me c+p a basic html file 1000 times, then renaming all the files.
theres gota be a program that can do it automatic somewhere :blink:
I was kinda asking why you would need to create a lot of empty files. If the names are sequential you could get a program that renames lots of files at once. As for making 1000 empty files thats only 10 copy and pastes (ie 1 -> 2 -> 4 ->8 ->16 etc)

im more need them 2 say do this:
chart-week4-1989.htm
chart-week5-1989.htm
things like that, then i can open them wid my editer and type

Bad idea as a webmaster to have so many empty files. Create them as you will make them.
I don't see the point in that!
