Play-The.Net Review

It's a french generalist tracker, except for HD. Play-The.net stood in for "Reload Paradise" since this one closed six months ago. You can find the same contents, and also same members/uploaders. Ptn is also affiliated to "HD-Life.net", this one only for HD contents.
The tracker closed registration for one month, then it will be only-invites, available as soon as staff have done their cleaning up with accounts.

# of members: no idea but completions on one torrent is 53387 so probably at least double this.
# of seeders: 800000 estimate
# of leechers: 20000 estimate
# of torrents: 100422 (88700 with 70773 alive, 11722 with 7513 alive in HD)


pretime: 4 (not a strength it seems)
content: 9 (lots of torrenty goodness but a bit light on packs)
speed: 6 (has user uploads, not too many seedboxes, some are very well seeded)
overall: 7


Invites: currently open

Free leech: 1403 HD, 2926 normal. 'Mes credits freeleech', some sort of select the torrent freeleech system.

Ratio: easy. Lots of leechers and some freeleech.


Notes: Bit concerned at the very slow speeds I got on many of the newer torrents. Just joined so cant see the stats for members, leechers or seeders. Estimate of seeders and leechers is poor as you dont get to browse all torrents only 50 pages of them so cant see where the 1 seeder torrents start, still at 3 leechers on the 1000th torrent when sorting by leechers, 81 seeders on the 1000th most seeded torrent; so a lot of activity.

Special note: It is a French language tracker and if you are not French (or those fake Frenchies in Canada) then this tracker is pretty much useless for you.

I just put 100000 in the member count. Any number on the WTO which follows this (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PinballScoring) rule can be assumed to be an estimate.
