I installed office 2003 three weeks ago and all the icons were 3d which was kool but now all of my word documents icons are like those files without extension :huh:
i will post a pic

it might be as simple as this (the file associations have been messed up by installing the new software) - try right click one of those files, go to 'properties' - on the box with file size etc near the top it will say "open with" try clicking that and re-associate the file with the prog that opens it - hope it works :D

its not the name, i have set my computer properties to show me all the extensions

try my computer---> tools---> folder options ---->file types----> find file click advanced then change icon
