 nah ive heard of copying cdr's with clone cd tho. all the software i try gives me this copyright bulll@#$%!!!! these are my DVD's!!! it should be my right to try to preserve them since the damn recording studios have such a hefty price taggg on them. This little war they are conducting is choking the tru benefits of the technology behind our home personal computers and advantages that they have for us the commoners that have paid such a hefty price for!!!!wheeeewww.

 we ordered ROXIO 6. i'll let you kno how it worx.

The easy way is DVDXcopy express.Or you can rip it to your hd with DVDshrink and then nero will let you burn it. :)

yeah, dvdxcopy.

but for most decrypters & such, you usually have to play the dvd for a few seconds prior to ripping or copying.

DVDXcopy usually needs 2 blanks but the express version reduces the file sizes to fit on one disk with only minimal reduction in quality usually.Although I think it strips out the menus and extras, but I may be wrong.

These are all good

DVD COPY PLUS

DVD2 one.

Smart_Ripper

Smart Ripper (removes macrovision CSS and region protection)
Then burn it using Nero Vision .

I use 3 programs:

1. Dvd decrypter (makes a perfect copy of the movie and removes macro vision)
2. Dvd2one (makes you choose audio and subtitles if needed and creates a burnable copy)
3. Copytodvd (well... burnes it on a dvd)

Works like a charm for me!

I make many many many many copies (backups)

DVD Decrypter (ripper) + IFO Edit (shrinker) + Nero (burner).

Nero never gives me copyright errors.

I tried that program and it's very easy to use but, it creates an annoying startup message on the DVD.

" something like this: This is a DVD Backup bla bla bla...

It's not that bad but.. annoying none the less.
