Downloaded Music Dropout

Been away for the summer and went to grab some newer tunes I wanted, only to find that about 1/4 of the way into the tune it either drops out or turns into trash noise! What have I missed? What's going on? Aaaaaaah! Answers---need answers! Need input? Somebody Help! pleeease :blink:
