View Full Version : Ultimate Windows Tweaker v2
I was looking for a method of removing the small shortcut arrows from my desktop icons and I came across this nice little utility which allowed me to do just that and more.
If you use Windows 7, I'd suggest giving it a look; it's got "over 150 tweaks". No installation necessary. :)

I'll have to give it a try , never heard of it . I know Tuneup and Win7 Manager give you that option tho .

Sometimes it's Inconvenient to distinguish the shortcut and the .exe .
And it may lead to some mistakes,i feel

Then don't use that particular tweak. :idunno:

This one was pretty good. Got most of the stuff I disable after a reinstall.
That is actually really neat. A lot of nice features packed into one tiny little program. Thanks!

I'm curious about this tweak , + Improved “Enable support for 4GB of RAM on 32bit Windows” . I'm running 64 bit so was wondering if anyone tried it .

My guess would be that it adds /PAE to boot.ini

This has been around for awhile, either one, someone has taken the "goodie part out" which was to Activate Windows 7 RC, was the same GUI, and same tweaks....or the other guy just added the activation scheme, there is one identical to this, except it has the activation method, same as with Vista...was the best around for Vista.
