anyone kno of a program that can split an avi into 2 seperate avi files? :)

i like easy video splitter, its good, but if ur advanced you can use virtual dub, allthough not n00b-friendly it does a good job

why do you want to split, most all avis will fit on 1 cdr

You can do it with EO Video or TMPGEnc, but they're both a little complicated. But if you want to split it just so you can burn it, you might as well just save it as mpg - it'll work better than letting Nero convert it.

I use Easy Video Splitter simple as hell http://www.doeasier.org/

Might need a crack can't recall had it for ages now.

Yes, easy video splitter is great and they also do a version for joining avi's
