Is there a way to hack or crack a password protected winrar file?

unfortantly, no, ive seen some proggys that say they can do it, they go down the alphabet and numbers and enter a random 1 each time, i had one, it wasnt free so it only decodded the first 3 letters in the pass

btw, it took 10hrs to decode 3 letters.....

Yeah, i ran one for 3 hours and gave up. It was on it 2nd letter/number

No i dont remember, also i dont remember the method. I think it may have been just called zip cracker.

lol are there universal password scramblers?

you know ones that will automaticly keep testing out passwords...

starts from one character, then goes up... going thro every possible combination?
