i downloaded the patch for max payne. i have two of them sould i install the 1.02 patch or the 1.05? i have version 1.0 now.

whats the difference, I installed the one on the second disk, in the crack folder?

this is not a crack it's an update for the game

01/21 - Max Payne v1.05 Patch: A new patch has been released to help out with two problems some users encounter with the game. The patch addresses these issues:

Game exits with the error message "Out of memory vertex buffer".
Game exits when loading a new level.


10/9 - Max Payne v1.02 Patch: A patch has been released to help out with two problems some users encounter with the game. The patch addresses issues with the Windows taskbar showing up inside the game while you play. Full details are available inside the patch itself.

i got the gmae off of a friend i jus extracted it to my desktop and its in a folder would i jus put the patch in that folder or how would i do it?

did you installed the game?

you can get the patch here:

if you installed the game you can just double click the patch

u dont need to install it it runs from that folder

ok then just open the patch and when installing browse to the correct folder

ok i did that and then when i went ot run it it siad u need the cd and then i got the no cd crack and then when try to go into the game it jus exits out and says there has been an error.

you need a different nocd-patch because the one you have is for version 1.0
