Once again, the Dog has removed ALL invites. He seems to have unannounced openings every month. Dog is $10.00 lifetime.

Nzb.su is $10.00 per year. Invites are usually fairly easy to get over at Reddit.

Nzbgeek.info is excellent ( tons of features that go beyond standard newznab) , no invite required, and is $6.00 every six months.

Since nzbgeek.info is open as of now, I would try them first rather than wait for invites.

The only problems I have is if you set your system to grab NZB's off and forget to set your filters on fully, your whole system gets wiped with malware. I just lost 3 TB of movies because a Malware Tapeworm invaded my system.
Usenet is great but it is like dipping a cup into a ditch, You don't know what is in the water so you better be careful when you drink.

Or is it more posters are scrambling filenames. Where as before you could generate an NZB within binsearch directly with search, now I find you need to do a double search, once that will show a single nfo file and then use the scrambled filename associated with the scrambled named nfo file for a new search.

Most of the others try to follow the way they operate, i know from my experience of different sites i use they do have some of there own traits, and even some of the content that is posted, and the speed the new stuff is upped, varies, but most of the time they all end up with most of the same stuff?? So really what makes NZBS.org stand out?? And also noticing that yourself and famousjohn have been members here for a while as well??, and not big posters in the forums either??

Well i can say you have a few good ones there you did pick and depending how much you download a day a few give you a limited downloads without any membership fee;), I have been with Usenet Crawler for a very long time (BFF was cheap;)), if you went to his chat site there was more explanation why there was a downtime, but it should be up for a while now, I actually like that site because it ups everything, and pretty much every format, plus a ton more older posts that my Usenet provider really gets everything,and yes it is a pain in the butt for the multiple posts of things, but it also gives all the Usenet Providers to actually get an NZB that still works and not blocked..

So saying which ones you are looking as alternates and there is a few more that i would think are pretty good as well?? Did you pick those because they are close to nzbs.org content?? I am thinking the setup would be more like NZB.su or Dognzb (that i am surprised you didn't mention??) ??

Don't get me wrong they are both really good!!, But honestly to myself, they are not always the best, there are a few more that i prefer or where i go first;), but again depends what you are looking for right??
If i were you don't delete the links so fast to nzbs.org, and see maybe someone else will take over the site?? Really take a peek on Reddit, and I am thinking there are some die hard people that do like the site??
And i didn't mean any disrespect or trying to be a know it all, i see you have been around Usenet for a while, saying you been at nzbs.org for 10 years, but i have learned i never put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to this stuff, even with actual Usenet providers, you have to say the loyalty days are long gone like Giganews etc in the days, the same goes with NZB sites, as i said some sites only post only certain formats and or some work with newznab or bot retrieval systems and some still have manual posters......

You know, maybe if you started contributing 4K NZBs to FST then others would feel inspired and do the same, and pretty soon you'd have your 4K section here... If you build it, etc. :)

Again if you want a really good 4K site, honestly you will have to shell out a few bucks, and there is quite a few out there for you for sure....

Some have short trials, and some give you a few NZB downloads a day, but sometimes they block off some of the format and quality sections..

Again a person that has been in the Usenet game for a while sooner or later tries to learn and read what sites are good , the same with Usenet providers if you know what i mean...I waited for a few until they opened for new members;)

I don't use NZBPlanet but i do use many others, and i pay for most of them, and most people in the game now with the obfuscation you really don't have a choice..

I assume you have a 4K tv and you want to get the best quality content to utilize and enjoy it, and there is nothing wrong with that....

Edit:chipsteruk NZBPlanet, is $10 vip a year for unlimited everything, myself personally i don't think it is the best one, but i don't know what 4K content you are looking for so to give you more assistance would be difficult as well.

Tbh I prefer nzb to torrents but when I want 4K I’ve always had to go down the torrent road. Hopefully this can stop now after your help. I really do appreciate it.

I am not a big fan of Torrents, either, but most of the guys that play in the forums are and they are scarier then the Usenet Guys. :yikes:

To be honest i did have a free admission to NZBPlanet at one time , i checked in my bookmarks, but it lapsed out, so if i did that in my opinion it was shit compared to many others or it just wasn't worth money to become a VIP there, again my opinion , but the truth i do screw around do some research and and try to keep up with the better NZB sites..

Again if you read my posts you would see i used the word obfuscation, the Binary up-loaders are now coding/jumbling all of them so A there are hard to find and are linked/affiliated to the more upper private NZB sites, and B less take downs/removal requests from the fuzz/copyright from Usenet providers....

Also bookmark the other links i gave you and try to find the time just to go through the lists there to have a backup or 2.

Again another suggestion if you haven't done any reading here, if you haven't switched to SABnzb yet i suggest you do, the same it is worked with the regular Usenet binary up loaders and there obfuscation codes to extract the rar files properly...

I agree, DrunkenSlug, is a good NZB account to have( had mine for a long time), but there is also a few out there that are just as good or even better (in my opinion), that are open for new members, but they don't have any freebie grabs, they are paid sites...

And yes i only use Newsgroups ;), and to be honest i prefer not to list those on any forums for reasons i think you would understand...

That would also go for the better Usenet providers, that don't have many blocked/take-downs....

PS. And if i remember what has happened to me, some of the sites that see you are just grabbing freebies, and never join, they can purge your account. It defiantly happens when it comes to Torrent sites if you don't use them..

To be honest they are so cheap to join, in the grand scheme of things, if you are all in with usenet, really you should budget a few bucks and join some of the reliable sites if you can....

at some point if you want to download batches of files, it will be worth paying to get unlimited downloads ex. for series that you would like, but for my usage those I listed and the free ones are just fine - in case I don't find something I want then I dig into torrents.

I finished the indexer list.
I used two different existing tables, combined them, and added updated info.
In this list are no forums yet, as I don't know if it is appropriate to point to other NZB forums here.
However, I could add forums in the future (however, they would be more work, as there are way more and some are donation only).
