[-Crono-]... How about something like this? http://www.rnw.nl/informarn/assets/images/crono.gif

Maybe needs a bit of trimming and resizing. If you want me to, I could do that for you.

How about this: With transparent background? http://www.uploadit.org/files/211003-crono_transp.gif

I mucked about with the gamma and got it a bit darker.

Ha! Cool. It's nice to see that you are using it.

You see the one with the darker gamma setting? I have one like that, even a bit darker, that's transparent also.

As for making the second hand move... That's not my specialty either. Maybe some animation wizard could do that for you.

Well, since Virtualbody1234 already has his fancy applications running, I may as well as for something to be done with my avatar - it needs some modernization / updating.

The transparent background is especially nice looking. Maybe my head could be trimmed and placed on a transparent background after a bit of magic is performed on the image itself?

Just thought I'd ask, as it couldn't hurt.

Here are a few images to play around with.

http://www.piczonline.com/client/crumbcat/[01]%20CrumbCat%20Avatar.jpg

http://www.piczonline.com/client/crumbcat2/CrumbCatAvatar2.jpg

It would be great to see the two images above morph back and forth (I know - it's asking alot, but....)

sparsely
10-23-2003, 12:37 AM
Thanks everyone...

making two hands turn at different rates is difficult to accomplish without the using something like flash...at least with simple skills
like mine

and Crumb Cat, I've been turning over the idea of an avatar for you, and I think I've finally come up with a few, I'll try to
work on em tonight.

*Edit*: Here's something for the meanwhile Crumb Cat ;) cuuute (http://www2.b3ta.com/mind-control/)

hmm i want one that moves

like my current avatar
but instead of scribblec
have it morph to c-c and then back again constantly

can anyone do this for me please!?!

Okay Crumb Cat...
here's one thing I kinda visualized. I was goin for a kind of Art Deco thing...I'm reasonably pleased with it, but I didn't use any
of the elements you gave, so if you don't use it, that's fine. I'll try to do a morph to, but I'm still learning how to do this stuff. ;)

Virtualbody1234 - Yeah, thanks - I do like that one. I'm using it at the moment, but have to say I am interested to see what Sparsely can do with the morphing thing. It will be between the one you have provided and the morph.

Sparsely - thanks for the Art Deco thing, but I will be staying with something Cat-Related. I am interested to see what you can do as far as the morph request - I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Thanks alot to you both.

10-23-2003, 08:35 PM
Well, it has grown on me, and I now will be keeping this one!

I think the only thing I'm going to try to do to it now is make the nose 'scrunch' and the whiskers moveas a result. I'm sure this will not be easy, but it sounds like fun to me - and if I am unable to achieve it, I will be happy with what it looks like now.

Thanks so much, Virtualbody1234.
