Go to the topic you want to link to.

Highlight the URL in the address bar of your browser

Copy it using ctrl+c and then click the http:// button above the text input area to enter the URL of the topic.

Hope that makes sense.

Dammit. You know howto do it but I guess I'm not explaining properly. As you are reading this, you don't see an address bar above(at least I don't) but when I clicked on that link I did. So how did you get the URL for this page?

Hmmm... very odd. :unsure: No matter what page I look at on the forum, the address bar shows at the top of the browser... the only exception is when one of the popups that have more smileys or PMs open up.

All I can say (and it's just a guess) is that perhaps you have your browser configured so it doesn't normally display the address bar?

Try this:
Right click on your taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Select toolbars> Address from the context menu.

The address bar should appear on your task bar. Can you see the URL now?

Mate just hover your mouse over the link,then right click the mouse then properties.Copy and paste the address in the post.You also done need to use the http button. :D

ok.. lets assume your in the lounge section of the forum.

You see a topic you want to link to.

Instead of left clicking on the topic name, (which, naturally will open it in the browser) Right click on it instead.

A context menu will open, presenting you with a variety of choices.

Right at the bottom will be one that says Properties. left click it and you will see near the middle of the dialogue box that opens, the URL of the link. select the URL and copy it as usual.

You now have your address to paste wherever you want.

Mate you cant do it accessing the web through kazaalite.You'll have to use a browser like internet explorer.There should be a link to the forum in your ie favorites.

Mate,incase you never noticed my edit.If you like to continue to use kazaa lite.If theres a thread or somthing,before you click it,press and hold the shift key(the big one below enter with the upward arrow.And it'll open in a new window with an address bar.

Because my memory hasn't been going to shit ever since I stopped sharing. Fuck you guys, I'm no leech. If Kazaa didn't slam my memory when I was sharing then I never would have turned it off. :angry:

its hard not to hate someone who does what you do, I mean the very foundation of p2p is sharing, but you justify LEECHING because of a problem that should be fixed, not patched by being the guy everyone hates

and just so you know I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but really disapprove of leeching, just not fair to everyone how shares stuff with you

Thanks for the compliment Musleman. This is directed at both of you: I tried to figure out what the problem was for several months on my own but to no avail. I then started not one, but two threads on two different occasions in an attempt to solve this matter. I had several replies but no working solutions either time. I have other things in my life that require my time and attention much more than solving the problem of Kazaa slamming my memory and eventually leading to me terminating the sharing of any files. So before you go name calling next time, do some research 'muchspl2'. If anyone has any other complaints, I'm listening, and I'll respond.

there is only 2 things you need to do first empy your shared folder and see if this

happens again if that does not do it then delete the db folder it takes 2 minutes

boss, you know we don't take the fact that we are risking our asses out here while

others just download and don't share, i for one have a life of my own but if i turn

klite on to download i make sure you and every body else can upload, i'm not on

the networked to get used, if you are having problems with klite then fix it or don't

use it please, its like we are all fighting and you are sitting down having a beer,

when i suggest how to fix it you respond by i'm not realy worried about it, what do

you mean?? so you don't care about the rest of us risking our asses here, we

should all bow to you and let you download and not share??? does that sound right

Notice also that when he did figure out a solution that he didn't bother to share that solution with us. Again, leeching behavior.

I've been away from this forum for a couple of days. But Sampson, there's no need to keep swearing at me like that. I'll try and help you if you want. ;) I use a freeware program called FreeRam XP Pro to help regulate the memory usage. It works fine for me!

I think the makers of K-Lite cannot remove the option to disable sharing, because they don't have the source code. But that doesn't mean it's somehow OK to be a leech.

We give you all the free stuff in the world you want, Sampson. So why do you keep swearing at everyone now??!! I wish you would show some respect for this community!!
