File Renaming

how do i get rid of the .exe extension on this bin file i got? you can't do it just by right clicking and clicking rename :(

why would you want to rename it, use daemon tools and mount the bin so you can play it as though it was on a cd-r.

but for your info, here's how you rename,

Tools>Folder Options>View>uncheck "Hide Extentions for Known Filetypes"

now you can rename and change filetype as well.
note, i'm using xp it may be slightly different on other OS's not too sure.
