i think God Father was a classic gangsta movie (watched it many times) and Scrface, lets just say i started watching and after hour or so i was like WTF is going on!! anyway i know most of u like scarface but i still wana know would u still pick scrafce if u have to choice to pick GoDfather!

It is aa hard chioce..but "honestly" i think godfathers ,aleast 1&2 have that little bit extra.And the godfather theme tune is superb.I seen slash once do a solo of it at a guns&roses concert in paris. :D

don't get me wrong the god father is a classic, but i feel the movies r very diffrent...

The Godfather 2 was better!

Personally I think that GOODFELLAS is THE BEST gangster movie of all time!

also ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA is a very good second.

I havn't seen The Godfather. And everyone kept telling me what a good movie Scarface was, so I rented the new DVD.... man was it boring to me. Only the first part, the part where the guy gets shot in the car, and the ending were good. They just talked during the entire movie!

Godfather 1 & 2, without a doubt.

Scarface was a mediocre movie, IMO. Especially compared to the first two installments of the Godfather trilogy.

I haven't seen Godfather yet but I have seen Scarface and I loved it and still do. But I want to see Godfather because when Scarface came on T.V, Ice T was comparing Tony Montana & Micheal Collone and it just made me want to see it.

godfather 9/10-scarface10/10. i thot it was more interesting - i saw godfather was no. 1 at imdb so i watched it and it wasn't as good as i expected. btw both are excellent but i think they are very different. Scarface was a man coked up and spiralling into madness and the godfather is a mafia epic.

godfather 2 is way better than scarface - believe the hype

scarface- more style and cooler lines than godfather, but if it wasn't for pacino, it wouldn't come close

Scarface is the best. to me seemed more real. the Godfather seemed mostly talk and was boring.

Nah mate..i think u'll find they also think the godfathers are excellent too.Just if they had a choice to watch one on the spot they'd go for scarface.Mainly "just read busyman's post. :D
