View Full Version : HDbits accounts hacked?

Hi there, I'm a long time member of hdbits.org and found out yesterday I couldn't login to my account for i'm suspecting it's been locked or banned for the torrents i've been seeding are saying my passkey now is invalid.

I have no clue why this happened and there's no link anywhere on the login screen for the site that allows you to contact a moderator.

if someone could message a moderator for me or if a moderator could get back to me, that would be appreciated.
my hdbits account is 'phi0x' with a zero, i've been a longterm member and was invited by one of the top members/mods michelle years ago and have 1.1tb uploaded and just over a terabyte downloaded.

I have no clue as to why my account is banned so unless hdbits is hacked then i don't know why my account would be banned status.

Let us know how it goes. Maybe you were banned for inactivity: "If you up-/download less than 1 GB per week (approximately), your account is considered to be "inactive". This is an average value; you are not forced to actually up-/download 1 GB every week"

Sorry for being so cynical but when someone makes an account for shit like this it makes me wonder what their nick is on their other account. :P

Hdbits isn't hacked so it's probably something you did. Either that or it's their staffs fault but thats unlikely.
