Desktop App Manager..

I need a program where i can decide what programs i want to show in the taskbar, and the icons to the right of it, but still have those programs running.. then switch back and forth when i want to use it, and when i dont it disappears, but still runs. say i wanted to run kazaa but not have it show up on my taskbar.. not the boxes, but to the right.. so i could download but not have it show. thanks.
