I got Symantec corporate anti virus 8.1 installed and when I went into my mail it dosent seem like it scans the incoming and out going e mails like the norton anti virus did ...How can I get it to automaticaly scan both in and out going e mails ???

It realtime scans all files. Use Outlook or Lotus Notes if you want on demand email scanning.

You need to configure it to scan the e-mail I don't know exactly where to go for that just look in the settings.

You have the option to install the mail component for Outlook or Lotus when you install SAV

With realtime scanning enabled as DL. pointed out. That's all you need.
