Sims No Sound Or Arrow Pointer

iv got sims and sims livin it up and wen i start the games there is no sound and wen i click on something for a sim to do the arrow pointer disappears can some one lease help me?

is the game u installed a real or copied or downloaded version?

The arrow seems to be a graphic card problem. Have you got a gd graphic card?

I think if you're using a fake copy of the original sims you may not be able to see the pointer and if I'm not wrong, not able to install any expansions for it as well. The splash screen of the add-on will show but is not actually installed.

I remember there was a fix to this on the offficial site somewhere, because it was not only an issue on fake copies of the game.

its a copy but its been on b4? ill have a look on the site and see what they say. i can put expansion packs on though
