Seriously, I've heard people tell other people a song was electro, not techno. These damn sub genres just confuse me.

Both are subgenres of EDM.

I can't really explain whats the differnce,but its best if you on your own figure out the differnce.

Check Beatport.com and listen to those tracks categorized under TECHNO and ELECTRO.
