I doubt it does anything about pirated software, but I'm not the paranoid type.
I just don't want it buggin me.
A lot of people are the same way about Error Reporting.
Oh! I can't send an error report! this isn't a properly licensed program/OS!
it doesn't matter. It will usually point you toward any known issues with your hard/software configuration, but it doesn't
really give a shit about your product key....
or if it does, it's not apparant.
