What is your 'other' folder? Do you receive an error message when trying to delete the files??

no actually I don't even get a error messege, as a matter of fact it has 1700 images and files and I attempted to delete about 1500 of them and it still remained in my files. How do I just dump the entire file.

What is the name of the folder that the files are in?? Is it a Kazaa folder??

Do you have the "details" window to th left for your screen that shows a preview of the images? Shut off the details view and try deleting again.

I had a similar problem to this, my images were in my hidden files, i think i had to delete them all with k-lite disconnected, hope this is of some help.

just delete the entire folder in Windows Explorer

if you are absolutely sure that you want them gone, try holding down the shift key, when you hit the del key. that will bypass the recycle bin, and just straight out mark them to be overwritten.
edit: I've found that it works for deleting out the files in my shared folder that tend to come back, after I've deleted them
