Say that five times fast :P

Ok well down to business. Nothing beats google site search for searching a site, and here it is for FST, for any fellow google toolbar lovers.

ADD (http://toolbar.google.com/buttons/add?url=http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/11/13/2649300/SearchonFST.xml)

I created the button using this (http://www.livephysics.com/ptools/google-toolbar-button.php) nifty little site where you can make your own one up for any site or make your own FST site search button if you don't trust my conveniently provided one here :P. I also added the general FST RSS feed to mine and clicking on the button itself will go to the forums home page.

If I miffed anything up let me know :).

I don't want to add it to test it because I may not know how to remove it, but does it just do a "site:" search via Google?

You can remove it in the google toolbar settings in the Buttons tab.

Yes it does a site:filesharingtalk.com google search. You can inspect the XML in the link provided or see how it was created on that page I created it on.

We already have google site search in the header on this page. Click the search dropdown at the top of the page and there it is.

Yeah but see the advantage of a google toolbar button (and by extension, google toolbar) is that you can search the site while on another site or without having to scroll back up on the current FST page. It's a convenient third-party addition independent of FST's site features :).

cheers

You can make one with Firefox's search bar....you can do it with any site.

I notice some stuff, alot of stuff recently FST comes up first, well with those TV shows, was trying to figure out why the Pacific had some 900 people viewing it.
