Doom 3 Alpha Leak

everytime i boot up doom 3 alpha, i get a grey screen and just sits their and does nothing.

The way i fixed it, i downloaded a program called NVEmulate (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nv30_emulation.html), ran it and ticked nv30 emulate then doom 3 worked

I think it only works for Nvidia cards im not sure.
