is BitTorrent just pretty much the same thing as kazaa and bearshare and morpheus and all those things? or is there any benefits to having it? i have kazaa lite now, would there be any point in getting BitTorrent?

you don't have to worry about fake and corrupted files.

and is it worth getting?

you start off with slow speeds with bittorrent, but wait about 10-15mins and your speeds will be fast.

No, bittorrent tracker is not down, the tracker that is down is suprnova's :x
As the news item below says, we've taken down the trackers.
However, we can keep the torrents/trackers alive if we have other servers host them for the remaining days of the month.
What you need to have to host a good tracker:
- Dedicated server (no home lines!)
- Linux server
- up to 80GB a day traffic
- CPU power 1500Mhz or higher
Contact us here (hosting offers only! all other mails will be ignored)
We need them quickly though, so mail us soon! :P

-No corruption
-Generally better speeds
-Better file-sharing system
-Cleaner network
-Premium access to the latest files
What's left to convince you?
