The Pirate Society (TPS) is well known for being the invite forum that follows trackers rules. Which as some people say “everyone stays happy”. Which is complete bullshit. Tracker reps aren’t happy, TPS staff aren’t happy, random users aren’t happy. It seems to be a place of unhappy people.

Run by trackers

TPS’s policy of enforcing every silly little trackers, following every silly little demand is well known and alot of fun to make fun of. The description they are run by trackers is commonly thrown about when TPS is discussed. Well I can confirm that it is totally true, tracker reps are now getting people banned even when they aren’t break TPS rules.
Muddslinger of Acid-Lounge (A-L) (http://peekinsi.de/Tracker/Review/59-acid-lounge-al.html) and Merlins-Loft (ML) (http://peekinsi.de/Tracker/Review/81-merlins-loft-ml.html) recently got Frylock banned. Why? Well he claims because of his stance on trading, yet he isn’t trying to get n3v3r banned who has pretty much same point of view. Real reason, Frylock wasn’t sucking off Muddslinger which is a major no no in the world of Muddslinger. To show he was serious about his demands he left their IRC, asked for his two sites to be added to the non movement list (major loss there) and made sure other TPS members knew he wouldn’t be posting their until the serious outrage of his dry cock was dealt with!
Plus when I went over to TPS’s interview channel to find out what their interview was like MuddSlinger was there, determining what is TPS material and what isn’t. Can you believe they rejected me? Fuckers! http://onasoapbox.co.uk/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Still not happy

With all the tracker dick sucking TPS is doing, you would think the tracker reps would be happy. But no, TPS Rebels – Muddslinger, his buddy BlastGT1 (aka oldschool staffer),David1967 and other reps are planning a rebellion against TPS. Even when their silly rules are followed these guys aren’t happy and want a new invite forum to be created. (Oh wait I thought invite forums were evil so why are these reps wanting to create a new one?) Why because TPS doesn’t suck enough tracker dick for them and their search for a new home failing hard. Their plan to take 90% of the tracker reps from TPS, leaving TPS bare and in their own words “take TPS down”. Love it, TPS High Council members plotting to take down the site.
While TPS staff themselves are in a serious disarray with some of them not joining irc to proof they aren’t the leak from the tps staff channel. Guys, I am going to break this to you guys, 3/4 of your staff is leaking your staff channel conversations. Even the TPS Rebels make fun of how much stuff comes out of that channel. Sad to see the staff can’t even unite under their banner of leaking conversations.
Invites

As an invite forum TPS may be the biggest but it’s the one that people are forced to goto different invite forums to get the most basic of invites. They try and defend against this by claiming they aren’t a invite forum, but have an invite section. Their no movement list basically comprises of ever tracker worth having and all those trackers that want to act elite. It seems that TPS hasn’t clicked on to the simple fact of giving users what they want. But hey don’t worry plenty of competition, that actually do what invite forums are meant to do, allow people to give-away invites. (yea TPS Rebels, TPS already has competition.)
Saavyseed

Saavyseed, the TPS seedbox section, which pays for TPS in it’s entirety, yet TPS still accepts donations for server costs and what not. Guys tip, you should add beer to the donation needs, that way no-one can claim you’re abusing your donations, can’t have too much beer ever. This is another source for the TPS Rebels to rally on. With constant claims of deception, lying and worse profiting!
Conclusion

TPS is a prime example how not to do things. Sucking tracker dick doesn’t help, since clearly they will never be happy and think they are being disrespected. Banning sites like SCC from being given out is just silly for an invite forum.

My main concern with the place is the abundance of spammy posts to get the post count required for user class advancement, and the amount of sucking up that truly occurs. Those that voice their opinions tend to get attacked for it or get hit with the "Fuck You/Spam" button.

That being said, I feel there's a middle ground between acceding to every tracker wish and the somewhat open contempt for tracker staff and rules that's often shown here.

And really... what did you expect from these guys? The only real surprise to me was David1967, who always seemed fairly solid to me.

Also, they've opened up a forum visible to all where they're posting PMs and IRC logs in context for anyone curious. Rather unexpected and welcome at that.

Every single seedbox reseller is in it for the profit. Not sure how this makes these guys any different from any other "seedbox provider" that's just taking an OVH sever, sticking a pre-made disk image with a few programs installed onto the server, and splitting in between a few suckers at a nice markup.

Sounds to me a lot of people involved in BT/invite-forums and the likes are just a bunch of little kids that are very easily offended and don't realise being staff on a forum or tracker means actually not that much.

u r trying to say that THE REPS dont push around the TPS staff..u phail..let me narate my experience,once a member opened up at TPS about bieng unfairly banned at a tracker..the thread got 2-3 pages of replies,one or two from the TPS staff,and then Muddslingers comes in and "ANNOUNCES THREAD CLOSED",cause he dint like the way people were treating that rep.WHO THE FUCK IS HE TO TELL TPS STAFF TO CLOSE THAT THREAD",and yes that thread got closed,without the consent of the THREAD STARTER..this is just one instance

and bout FRYLOCK..lolllllll..dude that thread he created was three days old and had around 5 pages of replies,many of them by the TPS staff..nobody had a problem with that,before Mudslinger made it clear,he wants Frylock out,not everyone's stupid u know :dabs:

I haven't seen a half decent discussion in their BT section in ages. People are afraid that by posting controversial opinions it'll screw them over for invites down the road. People spam their way into the Captains forums, request FTN, and then are never seen again. And while that certainly doesn't describe all members, I've certainly seen it happen repeatedly.

I never really saw the point in using TPS.
I caught one of the mods there ratio cheating using one of the savy seedboxes they were trying to sell.
I posted the logs showing flat out cheating was taking place to staff from other sites who also came to the same conclusion.
I was made out to be the bad guy for banning this mod.
He cried and cried and cried about being banned
(He was almost as bad as Cabalo and Albo crying and vagina wise...)
He started a thread on TPS dissing me and my site for banning him trying to bring to the light about me falsly banning him for cheating etc..
To sums it up... Beagle remains banned to this day.
It doesn't make their seedboxes or their forum look too well.

I stopped using their forum within a week of starting.
It was really gay.
And that really means alot coming from me cause I even enjoy visiting this site more than TPS ;)

To show he was serious about his demands he left their IRC, asked for his two sites to be added to the non movement list (major loss there) and made sure other TPS members knew he wouldn’t be posting their until the serious outrage of his dry cock was dealt with!

With all the tracker dick sucking TPS is doing, you would think the tracker reps would be happy. But no, TPS Rebels – Muddslinger, his buddy BlastGT1 (aka oldschool staffer),David1967 and other reps are planning a rebellion against TPS. Even when their silly rules are followed these guys aren’t happy and want a new invite forum to be created. (Oh wait I thought invite forums were evil so why are these reps wanting to create a new one?) Why because TPS doesn’t suck enough tracker dick for them and their search for a new home failing hard. Their plan to take 90% of the tracker reps from TPS, leaving TPS bare and in their own words “take TPS down”. Love it, TPS High Council members plotting to take down the site.
While TPS staff themselves are in a serious disarray with some of them not joining irc to proof they aren’t the leak from the tps staff channel. Guys, I am going to break this to you guys, 3/4 of your staff is leaking your staff channel conversations. Even the TPS Rebels make fun of how much stuff comes out of that channel. Sad to see the staff can’t even unite under their banner of leaking conversations.

As an invite forum TPS may be the biggest but it’s the one that people are forced to goto different invite forums to get the most basic of invites. They try and defend against this by claiming they aren’t a invite forum, but have an invite section. Their no movement list basically comprises of ever tracker worth having and all those trackers that want to act elite. It seems that TPS hasn’t clicked on to the simple fact of giving users what they want. But hey don’t worry plenty of competition, that actually do what invite forums are meant to do, allow people to give-away invites. (yea TPS Rebels, TPS already has competition.)
Saavyseed

Saavyseed, the TPS seedbox section, which pays for TPS in it’s entirety, yet TPS still accepts donations for server costs and what not. Guys tip, you should add beer to the donation needs, that way no-one can claim you’re abusing your donations, can’t have too much beer ever. This is another source for the TPS Rebels to rally on. With constant claims of deception, lying and worse profiting!
Conclusion

TPS is a prime example how not to do things. Sucking tracker dick doesn’t help, since clearly they will never be happy and think they are being disrespected. Banning sites like SCC from being given out is just silly for an invite forum.

I never really saw the point in using TPS.
I caught one of the mods there ratio cheating using one of the savy seedboxes they were trying to sell.
I posted the logs showing flat out cheating was taking place to staff from other sites who also came to the same conclusion.
I was made out to be the bad guy for banning this mod.
He cried and cried and cried about being banned
(He was almost as bad as Cabalo and Albo crying and vagina wise...)
He started a thread on TPS dissing me and my site for banning him trying to bring to the light about me falsly banning him for cheating etc..
To sums it up... Beagle remains banned to this day.
It doesn't make their seedboxes or their forum look too well.

I stopped using their forum within a week of starting.
It was really gay.
And that really means alot coming from me cause I even enjoy visiting this site more than TPS ;)
Tons of people think I really really hate this site so it should give some of you an idea of what my thoughts on TPS are if I like this site better.
