My stupid mouse has a scroll button. Everytime I turn the wheel up or down it goes either back or forward on the browser to the page I visited. Its only supposed to scroll down the damn page. How do I stop this? I've already checked the mouse's preferences,and nothing about that was there.

do you have any drivers for the mouse, or are you using the basic windows versions?

what make and/or model mouse do you have?

have a look at the Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) site for updated drivers for your mouse...
