How much have you uploaded cause i guess you would get some responce data from the upload destination ?? But 1 gig seems harsh  ! Do you have a firewall?

I uploaded 3gb last night. I am on NPF. One more thing norton keeps telling me that i am being attacked by someone who has the same ip has mine. Does this mean i am attacking myself.

have a look in the logs for NPF and check for activity when you left you comp on and see if anything odd turns up.
Could be some stupid Trojan horse or similar  nasty things

did you actually have any files?
in order to keep a connection open, you're gonna be passin packets both ways...that seems like a lot though.
It's probably just normal traffic.
