For a while now ive been using Blackice PC protection with is satifactory for stopping hacking attemps, but if anyone knows any better one's please say.
Also a hash and a web site would be handy.

just get a router, keep your virus definitions updated, and forget about it all.

Yeah router is the one, thats what I got.
A firewall is only good if it does what you want it to do.
