temp files are files used my apps when u install them, like it kinda extracts them there then copys them, then usually leaves them behid, and also other things, u will nearly always have temp files, just clean them

You can safely delete all the files and folders in Windows Temp folder.
Just make sure you leave the ones that are 1 day old at least.

If you want you can go into internet options, then on the general tab go into settings in the temporary internet files section, you can lower the maximum size of your temp folder.

May I suggest using a nice lil freeware app called Cleanup (http://cleanup.stevengould.org/)?

It deletes all your temp files and the internet history... and that's just for starters. :)

It's 100% free... with no trial periods and no nag screens.
Try it and find out for yourself... its a very small dl.

It's very easy to use and takes less than a minute to set up... even a n00b could do it.

an odd one, yet it's possible, do u have some bittorent or overnet files that are somehow being moved there? confirm by checking the files/sizes in both programs' folder. reboot and check again.
