I have Intel and have used Intel for over 10 yrs with gigabyte mobo's. The pair have never let me down, Nice and reliable nice and fast what more can you ask for.
Now my friends have had AMD and have suffered badly with it except for 1 friend who swears by it and has had no problems what so ever, Take from that whatever you will , But Intel rules in my world.

I got an email from a company says their Motherboard + Memory Bundle is on sale.I compared the prices around and found they are really good deals.
Both Intel and Amd.

There is no better when it comes to Intel and Amd.
I Amd is better for games and Intel generally performs better encoding.
Intel was here before, it's a fact that they have more experience but in the other hand innovation beats experience in the tecnology business and AMD rised very fast, so they can't be bad too.

You can't go wrong wrong in both ways but one is better than other for your need.
To find which is better for you, first filter by price limit, decide what specs you need and do specific research. Instead of "Intel vs AMD" try "AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ vs Intel Pentium D 840 for gaming" (AMD is better in this example)
And last but not least, don't get angry get lmgtfy links for response, this is the exact response I would give I didn't have way too much free time for today

If you have alot of money, buy Intel. But if you are poor or something like that, buy AMD lol.

I prefer Intel...my first PC is intel cpu with a gigabyte mobo and it works fine for 8 years until someday after a cleaning I misplaced a wire and the fan got stuck so it got overheated and went down.

Never had a moment's trouble with AMD. The first PC I ever built had an AMD Athlon 1400+ in it. Stay away from the "cheap" ones and you'll get a good processor. Prefer them to Intel.
