Proxies, mail servers, personal file hosting accessible via HTTP, etc.
Let me find a small list I had of small PHP scripts suitable for certain specific needs and I'll post again.
I would probably make it my own personal image hosting.

There's PHPProxy as well. You can install it as an script. It doesn't work the same way a "real" HTTP proxy does, but may come useful.

well, I also have a such space, my use is
handy iso files + my mp3 collection + few application config file(backup) + few comics, e-books and small games.
Don't forget, you can always get any app you want from internet, but recreate your media play list in less than a hour. When I stuck in a place with computer, I get to my space, start my music, grab a book and start reading.
Whatever you use it for, always have a few hundreds megs of items which can keep you busy, It comes very handy
