anybody know of a good FREEWARE icon editor?? i can't find any. the ones i've tried are shareware and they do something stupid like disabling the save button. if anybody knows of one that would be great.

I tried to save with an extention of .ico and it never worked :(

The new versions of Microangelo expire after a certain number of days, but the old 98 version will last forever if you can find it. It's fully functional, but it has a nag screen whenever you open or close the program that reminds you to register it (no big deal). If your interested, do this...

1. Go to http://www.alltheweb.com/

2. Type mike98.exe and click on the SEARCH button

3. Click on the FTP files tab, and select a link to download


NOTE TO MODS: This post is legal because these are links to a shareware program, not warez. ;)

Exactly just get microangelo off kazaa and get a keygen or crack. Its not hard to do.

And besides, the '98 version won't have support for 'XP' style icons (48x48px, high colour etc.)

I forget why, but I had a hard time cracking the new version. That's why I went back to 98. I forgot about the resolution limit, though.

FOSI's website has MicroAngelo 5.58 full retail. :D

Just Google search for FOSI. ;)
