After a grueling, one-month long battle against some of the most hated companies in America, Comcast, the hated source of net-neutrality legislation and internet service throttling has been awarded the "Worst Company in America' by readers of the Magazine "The Consumerist".
"The match-ups witnessed in this year's tournament were intense," said Ben Popken, Co-Managing Editor of Consumerist.com. "Never did we think we would see certain companies, like Apple go as far as they did, and others like last year's winner AIG, drop out in the first round. We are honored to provide Comcast with the Golden Poo Award"
Comcast is known to most Scene and P2P communities as the company that is responsible for promoting service and bandwidth caps on individuals for reasons that many claim are outside of their realm of jurisdiction. Many gamers have also been affected by Comcast's policies of bandwidth caps.

It's a good thing that the public is finally calling Comcast out for the horrendous service they provide.
