View Full Version : How Do You Change File Exstensions

How do you change what files open with. I have just uninstalled Nero Player and i cant get the media player file to reapper. I searched with WMP but they still show up as nero files.

Is there a way i can change them back (as i dont get the option to open with)

Windows 98SE

All my audio, Avi and mpeg files

u can go into wmp and settings and set it as the default player for all ur video files. try that. it works for me

In my OS (win2k) you can open any window then tools>folder settings>filetypes and then just change it from there, can't be arsed to kick win98 into gear as that computer is downstairs though.

I selected WMP (as default) for everthing and its running sweet.
