Iain Duncan Smith didn't he know you can't beat the inland revenue, I personally would take great pleasure (though I admit it's wrong) in seeing a guy this high up fall over tax/business reasons however since ken clarkes out of runing i think they'd be a fool to drop him

Footnote used to supportlabour till i figured out they where conservative with a small c, don't know if i'd vote again (therefore i probably have no right to post a political thread)

I thought he was held in some suspicion by the varying wings of the party. I guess they must have decided they dislike him least (for the moment). :rolleyes:

His over-enunciation of every syllable is also extremely disturbing, reminds me of an extremely scary English teacher at my old school.
